Ashland, Alabama is home to the Clay County Yellow Meated Watermelon Festival, an annual event celebrating the best melon in the land. The festival is held in the Ashland City Park and on the Square in town. The day is filled with food, vintage cars, vendors, music, games and lots of fun fellowship. The event is held on the first Saturday in August each year. Located at 327 First Street North, Ashland.
